Ant Group's BaiLing team has released Ling-3.2-flash, a native multimodal model with 560 billion total parameters that activates only 25 billion per step, plus a million-token context and visual self-checking. It is a Chinese bid to match top-tier multimodal assistants while keeping inference costs down.
Moonshot AI launched Kimi Hosted Agents, a cloud service that runs the underlying harness for AI agents so developers skip infrastructure work. The same daily roundup also covered Google's Omni 1.2 Flash and Taobao's MNN team open-sourcing a 0.3-billion-parameter model.
Moonshot AI has unveiled Kimi K3.1 Pro, the first model in its K3.1 line and its most capable yet, built on a 3-trillion-parameter architecture. A 24-second teaser and a mystery Arena contender codenamed Kibitz had already tipped off Chinese developers before the official release.
