How to reach us
This site has one contact address: legal@hotnews.pub. Correction requests, reports of a factual error, requests to remove a photograph or other material, and enquiries from publishers or rights holders all arrive at the same address.
What to put in the message
Include the link to the page and one or two sentences saying what is wrong or what you would like done. A request that names a specific story can be checked against the source record kept for that story; without an address there is usually nothing to act on.
Rights, removals, and response time
Some images on this site remain the property of the parties that produced them. If you hold rights to material published here and want it removed, write to the address above: the claim is examined and, where it is well founded, the material comes down. A story that does not hold up is corrected or withdrawn, and a withdrawn story keeps its address with a short notice in place of the text. We act as soon as we are able and do not promise a response time we cannot keep.
