Four teams — LCK's HLE, LEC's G2 and KC, and the LCP's CFO — have fallen into the 1-2 bracket at the League of Legends World Championship, where a third loss ends the run. Only BLG's win over KC kept Chinese hopes of a deep Swiss run alive.
iG beat HLE in the 1-1 Swiss round at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, with TheShy saying his team had practised against HLE more than anyone. The win lifts iG to 2-1 and leaves HLE at 1-2, one loss from elimination.
